Classic Pico de Gallo

Zingy, salty, and a little bit spicy, this mix hits every flavour button worth pressing. The ultimate chip side-kick.

Prep time: 10 minutes

Total: 10 minutes

  • Ingredients
    • 4 ripe tomatoes, diced

    • 1 avocado, diced (optional but highly recommended)

    • ½ red onion, finely chopped

    • 1 small green chilli, deseeded and finely chopped (optional)

    • A handful of fresh coriander, chopped (if that’s your style)

    • Juice of 1 lime

    • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Method
    1. Dice the tomatoes and avocado, then add to a mixing bowl.

    2. Stir in onion, chilli and coriander.

    3. Squeeze over fresh lime juice.

    4. Season generously with salt and pepper.

    5. Toss gently to combine and serve fresh.
