Guasacaca Verde
Creamy avocado, loads of fresh herbs, and a tangy kick that keeps things bright. Basically guac’s cooler, saucier cousin.

Ingredients
2 ripe avocados
1 small onion, roughly chopped
1/2 green capsicum, roughly chopped
1 small jalapeño (optional, for heat)
2 garlic cloves
Big handful coriander (cilantro)
Small handful parsley (optional but good)
Juice of 1 lime
1 tbsp white vinegar
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt, plus extra to taste
2–4 tbsp water (to loosen)
Method
Add onion, capsicum, jalapeño (if using), garlic, coriander, parsley, lime juice, vinegar, olive oil and salt to a blender or food processor.
Blitz until mostly smooth.
Add avocado and blend again until creamy.
Add water a little at a time until it’s a pourable, dip-able consistency. Taste and season.
Serve with your favourite Sonora Foods Corn Chips.
